Nice series. Key to chisels is sharpening. I use multiple sandpaper grits, starting with 320 grit and ending with 2000 grit for final polish. I keep a chunk of leather for that final deburring pass. Making sure the back is flat is also important. Same method works for planes, both the blades and bottoms.
