Toolside Cord Caddy
This reader-submitted cord caddy keeps your cords close at hand, eliminating fumbling for that cord after you're finished changing bits.
To tame the power cord of my table-mounted router, I built a simple caddy from scraps of 1/4"-thick stock and mounted it to the tabletop (as shown below). I never have to blindly reach around under the table trying to find the cord. It works so well, I made another for my scrollsaw's foot switch to get it up off the floor when not in use.
