Hi.From my (and others)experience, when you push the wood in the end section, it causes the part that already passed the jointer knives, to be raised a little from the plate, resulting the product to be a little bend, not completely straight. I use to push the wood, first, over the knives, and then, on the plate behind the knives. I am using a 60 grit(or even less) sanding paper glued to a piece of wood that have some kind of raised handle, the wood always comes very straight. Palti
