I have used this book to build several Arts and Crafts pieces. I have made 5 Morris Chairs and modified the design somewhat. To be clear, these Morris Chairs are the most comfortable you will find. I always keep the height / angle of the seat the same, along with the height of the arms. I have made them out of Cherry, Red Oak and Black Walnut. Some with through tenons, and some not.
