| Varathane unveils premium stains |
Varathane's Mark Boufford and Lisa Skrdlant (at right) recently stopped by the WOOD magazine shop to demonstrate their new line of premium wood stains and a pre-stain conditioner. The stains (available in 24 colors) use translucent pigments that they say enhances the wood grain rather than hiding it. One of our favorite colors is Cabernet, which made even a scrap of poplar look like a million bucks. |
