For this bent guitar table I fashioned it after a Fender Stratocaster with a 3 tone sunburst finish. I used some beautifully figured quilted maple. I cut and formed the body. I purchased a nice guitar neck and tuners, and finished the neck end and back to match the guitar body. I air brushed black dye around the edges, then red dye, and yellow dye in the middle. I used different coloured woods for the inlays that simulate the knobs, pickups and bridges.
The walnut legs were formed and flared to give nice proportions and form. I also air brushed the legs with black and red dye around the edges, and yellow dye in the middle. It is finished with multi coats of high gloss lacquer.
