Many students like this class because of the steam bending of the arms. They are quartersawn oak (select), 1" finish thickness, 6" wide and 42" long. Most people are surprised at how simple it is and how much clamping pressure it takes. There are special tricks and techniques used to attach the bent arms to the front and back legs with through tenons the adjustable back has bandsawn curved slats. We do a quartersawn grain on all four sides of the front and back legs with a unique system - very simple and quick but not 45 degree angled sides. No upholstery is included
