Combination Router Table/Workbench
This router/clamping/downdraft-sanding table is Don Henderson's only workbench. The fence, which Don calls "an exercise in overkill," is made from three lengths of 2x6 birch, with a cutout in the middle for the router-bit opening. The top and ends are mahogany, and the faces are maple. The fence is aligned fore and aft using two steel rules embedded into the worksurface and clamped in place via the threaded knob on the right end. Six adjustment screws behind the movable faces level and square the fence to the table.

Bosch Benchtop Router Table
Great job of thinking outside the box! This is the kind of creative design I wish we'd see more of in woodworking magazines, rather than just the same old (you know what) every month. That table is unique, and obviously personally designed for personal/specific uses; not JUST personally crafted. Great job!
