Hank (that’s him on the left) showed us a prototype of a new sharpening system WorkSharp is working on, and wanted our feedback as leaders in the woodworking field. Unfortunately, I can’t show you the product or give you any details about it—it’s a “double-secret probation” type of situation—but I will when Hank and his crew of sharpening experts have finalized it, which he said should be in about 6 months. So stay tuned.
In the meantime, here’s a photo of the WorkSharp WS2000 ($99) with the knife-sharpening attachment ($43). A set of 6 replacement belts cost $25. It’s really cool. Too bad, though, that it doesn’t work on the larger WS3000.
