Mobile Tablesaw Base, Part 1
Here’s the start of my mobile tablesaw base. I’m riffing off of this design.
Started by dismantling the saw, as is my habit.

Built a new base from maple, incorporating plywood baffles and the saw’s scavenged dust port:


And with the gracious* help of a fellow editor, I hoisted the saw onto its new home.
*We were carpooling in my vehicle that day and I refused to take him home until after he helped.


Still a lot of work to do. Replace the fence, add a router table in the wing, and add drawers and storage anywhere I can tuck it away. I’ll keep you posted on the progress.
